“The lavishly restored antique post-colonial Chevrolet passenger bus is a unique way to travel in Myanmar”
The “Elephant Coach” was created to provide the look and feel of a traditional post-colonial vehicle with today’s quality and technical standards. This is the best choice for those who like to travel in luxury, but in the style of the old days. Alberto Peyre, the Italian architect who fell in love with these old Chevrolets after traveling to Myanmar, took more than five years to create beautiful and comfortable replicas. Why is it known as the “Elephant Coach”? Because these vehicles are as powerful as elephants, but just as quiet as the elephants can be when they walk.
The interior is decorated in teak and air-conditioned. A mini-bar is available onboard the coach, as well as a hostess to serve you. The luxurious coach can accommodate six to eight passengers comfortably. For information and reservations, please contact us.
